If you are planning a long trip through Central Philippines / Cebu area – I recommend buying a motorcycle instead of renting. You just don’t know where you will end up or who you will meet. I prefer to stay flexible. If you take care of the bike, you have a good chance of re-selling after your trip for the same price. I personally like driving the Kawasaki KLX in the Philippines. You will appreciate the thicker treads when out on the MANY dirt roads.
